Highly valued for its toughness and insulating qualities, as well as high dielectric strength over a wide range of frequencies.ETO and Autoclave sterilization. Non absorbent to water and unaffected by acids and alkali's. Should not be heated to temperatures above 752 Degrees F (400 Degrees C). Color: White Translucent Natural.

Ether-based Polyurethane Tubing is clear, flexible, resilient, resistant to weathering, tearing, impact, radiation and abrasion. Excellent resistance to oils, greases and fuels. Wide temperature range: -60 Deg to 220 Deg F (-51 C to 104 C). Can be heat sealed, fabricated or bonded. Contains no plasticizer which can migrate and cause contamination or tube hardening. Much more resistant to pressure and vacuum applications than corresponding sizes of PVC or rubber. Polyurethanes good tensile strength, together with its high elastic memory allows the tubing to fit barbed connections without clamps in low pressure applications and to withstand prolonged or frequent flexing. Standard barbed fittings and hose clamps are recommended for most applications. Durometer reading: 80A.

FEP is in the family of fluoropolymers with similar properties to PTFE (Sometimes branded as Teflon(R)). This tubing is transparent, has an excellent coefficient of friction slightly higher than PTFE, and is chemically resistant and considered inert. Maximum working temperature is 400F (204C). FEP is melt processable and can be formed into shapes, and it is weldable and thermoformable. The tubing is biocompatible certified to USP Class VI (chemical composition only). Sterilization methods include Gamma, ETO, e-beam and autoclaving.

Silicone rubber is able to resist extreme temperature variances, from -150 Deg F to 500 Deg F (-101C to 260C), and has a natural translucent color for visual flow. Resists U.V. ozone gases, moisture and temperature. Resilient, stretchable and resistant to compression set and is odorless, tasteless and inert. Silicone is extremely resistant to ozone and corona concentration over long time periods. It also has good electrical properties, along with the ability to self-extinguish typically within 3 -8 seconds, making silicone an excellent choice for appliance and computer applications. It is extremely flexible and exhibits superior flex life, reducing downtime due to tubing failure. Tygoprene can also be used as a substitute to silicone and PVC where longer pump life is required. Tygoprene tubing is translucent and has excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of fluids including acids and bases. This tubing remains flexible at -40 F and is temperature resistant to 250 F. Tygoprene pump tubing complies with FDA CFR 2:1,177.12:10 criteria for food contact applications; is NSF listed under standard 51 and has also passed the UL 94-HB flammability resistance classification. Tygoprene tubing has low extractable making it ideal for applications like ink transfer, soap and detergent delivery.
