Superthane(R) ester-based polyurethane tubing is clear, flexible, resistant to oils, greases and fuels, resistant to weathering, tearing, impact, radiation and abrasion, and can withstand a temperature range of -95F to 185F. It contains no plasticizer that can cause flow contamination or tube hardening and is manufactured from FDA-sanctioned ingredients for use with wet and fatty food contact surfaces. This tubing can be heat sealed, coiled, fabricated or bonded.

FEP is in the family of fluoropolymers with similar properties to PTFE (Sometimes branded as Teflon(R)). This tubing is transparent, has an excellent coefficient of friction slightly higher than PTFE, and is chemically resistant and considered inert. Maximum working temperature is 400F (204C). FEP is melt processable and can be formed into shapes, and it is weldable and thermoformable. The tubing is biocompatible certified to USP Class VI (chemical composition only). Sterilization methods include Gamma, ETO, e-beam and autoclaving.

FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) retractable tubing coils are resistant to most industrial solvents, chemicals and corrosive materials even at elevated temperatures. The maximum operating temperature is 400 F however coils may start to lose there set above 200 degrees F. May be chemically sterilized or autoclaved but care should be taken to retain shape during steam sterilization.
